Eli Otero III and his father, also known as the 2021 Indianapolis Colts Fan of the Year, LUCHABLUE, are a shining light for organ transplant recipients.

 

After being diagnosed with Alagille Syndrome, a disease that affects the liver, Eli and his family made frequent trips from Hobart, Indiana, to Indianapolis to receive care at Riley Hospital for Children. To make the most of their trips, Eli and his family would plan fun activities around his appointments. One of those activities was going to Colts games.

 

As his health declined, Eli was put on the waiting list to receive his lifesaving gift. He received his liver transplant in 2020 and is doing well! With over 1,000 Hoosiers waiting for their lifesaving transplant, your “yes” can save lives of people just like Eli.
